Contributions deducted under NPS from the employees of Aided institutions
Sub:- NATIONAL PENSION SYSTEM - Contributions deducted under NPS - from the employees of Aided institutions - instructions awaited from Government - clarification- Regarding.

With reference to the letter cited, the Deputy Director, District Treasury, Kadapa is hereby informed that, in respect of recovery of the CPS subscription from salaries of the employees working in the aided institutions, this office has requested the Govt to take appropriate decision for according permission to the GIA institutions (Drawing salaries under SDH 060-061) to meet the employer share of contribution under SDH 060-061, so as enable to the GIA institutions to upload the same to the NSDL along with employee share which is being collected /recovered from the employee vide reference 2nd Cited and the reply is awaited from the Government.
Therefore, deductions cannot be made towards CPS subscription from the salaries of employees working in the aided schools as the instructions are awaited from the Government.
