National Deworming Day scheduled on 03.03.2021 Instructions

The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state is invited reference cited and informed that the Government of India has directed to De-worming and it is decided to conduct National De-worming Day from 03.03.2021 to 09.03.2021 to cover the children from 01 to 19 years. They are instructed to involve all the managements under their control of schools i.e. Govt., ZP, Municipal, Aided, un Aided and Mandal Perished to conduct the National De-worming Day from 03.03.2021 to 09.03.2021 to cover the Children from 01 to 19 years age group and follow the instructions from the Health Department.

Further, all the District Educational Officers are requested to give instructions to all the schools including aided schools and private schools also to conduct the National De-worming day from 03.03.2021 to 09.03.2021 to cover the children from 1 to 19 years age group and follow the instructions from the Health Department and also inform them that tablets will be issued one free of cost by the Health Departments.

While enclosing the annexures and guidelines, all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to give instructions to all the Deputy Educational Officers, Mandal Educational Officers and Head Masters of Schools (both Private and Govt managements) to coordinate with the Nodal Officer, Health Department regarding the conduct of De-worming Day as per the guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare and Mission Director, National Health Mission, APIIC Towers, Mangalagiri, Guntur.

They are further requested to participate and monitor the program and make the program a grand success.
