1. In the circumstances stated by the State Election Commissioner, A.P., Vijayawada in the reference read above, the Government after careful consideration hereby authorize all the District Collectors in the State to declare local holiday on the day of poll i.e., 10.03.2021 in the areas notified for the poll, in connection with elections to Urban Local Bodies, under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.

2. The District Collectors in the State request. to take necessary action accordingly.

- ఆరోజున సెలవు ప్రకటించాలని ఆదేశించిన నిమ్మగడ్డ
- 12 నగర పాలికలు, 75 పురపాలికలకు ఎన్నికలు
ఏపీలో పంచాయతీ ఎన్నికలు ముగిసిపోయాయి. ఇప్పుడు మునిసిపల్ ఎన్నికల హడావుడి మొదలైంది. మార్చి 10న మునిసిపల్ ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్నాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లకు ఎస్ఈసీ నిమ్మగడ్డ రమేశ్ కీలక ఆదేశాలను జారీ చేశారు. ఎన్నికల నేపథ్యంలో మార్చి 10న సెలవు దినంగా ప్రకటించాలని ఆదేశించారు. పోలింగ్, కౌంటింగ్ (మార్చి 14) రోజుల్లో ప్రభుత్వ కార్యాలయాలకు సెలవు ఇవ్వాలని తెలిపారు. ఈ రెండు రోజుల్లో ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలను ఉయోగించుకోవాలని చెప్పారు.
ఎన్నికలకు పటిష్ఠమైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయాలని అన్నారు. సమస్యాత్మకమైన పోలింగ్ కేంద్రాలపై పోలీసుశాఖ ప్రత్యేక దృష్టిని సారించాలని ఆదేశించారు. ఎన్నికల ఏర్పాట్లపై జిల్లా కలెక్టర్లతో ఈరోజు నిమ్మగడ్డ సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన పలు సూచనలు చేశారు. రాష్ట్రంలో మొత్తం 12 నగర పాలికలు, 75 పురపాలికలకు ఎన్నికలు జరగనున్నాయి.
