Re-apportionment and General Transfers of Teachers

In continuation of reference 5th cited, the District Education Officer in the state is informed that certain cases are filed at Hon'ble High Court by some of the teachers in connection with teachers' transfer issues. In this connection, the District Educational Officers concerned in the State are hereby requested to follow the instructions given below in respect of cases noted:-

  • To file vacate petition in WPs filed in the Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh and similar cases on or before 11.12.2020 in consultation with the LMC of this office. 
  • To issue speaking orders in respect of the disposed of cases in consultation with the LMC, if the request of the Petitioner(s) is not feasible as per the rules.

Further, the above cases shall not be escalated to the level of 'contempt of court', in which case responsibility shall be fixed on the concerned and action shall be initiated against them under Rule - 20 of A.P.C.S (CC&A) Rules, 1991, duly obtaining their written explanation as per the rules in vogue and also requested to furnish action taken report to the undersigned.
