Chief Minister KCR said that the central policy should be changed in the case of DA of government employees which is currently being followed. 'Currently the central government is deciding how much the DA will cost. It is followed by the states. There has been a delay in the center making estimates and making a decision. Currently, three DAs have to be paid. In this case, the Center has to announce its decision in the case of two DAs. The states have to delay the decision of the Center. As a result, arrears are accumulating. Employees do not receive timely DA. This situation must change. Once every six months the DA has to decide what to pay in the state when the due date arrives.
The center should revise it if necessary after receiving the estimates. For example, the state should declare and implement a 3% DA. If the center declares 3.5 percent, the remaining 0.5 percent has to be paid. If it is determined as 2.5, it will be deducted by 0.5 percent. Proposals should be made immediately in this regard. We will discuss in the cabinet and take a policy decision, ”he said.

'ప్రస్తుతం డిఎ ఎంత అనే విషయంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటున్నది. దాన్ని రాష్ట్రాలు అనుసరిస్తున్నాయి. కేంద్రం అంచనాలు తయారు చేసి, నిర్ణయం తీసుకునే విషయంలో జాప్యం జరుగుతున్నది. ప్రస్తుతం మూడు డిఏలు చెల్లించాల్సి ఉంది. ఇందులో రెండు డిఎల విషయంలో కేంద్రం తన నిర్ణయాన్ని ప్రకటించాల్సి ఉంది. కేంద్రం తీసుకునే నిర్ణయంలో జాప్యం వల్ల రాష్ట్రాలు జాప్యం చేయాల్సి వస్తున్నది. ఫలితంగా బకాయిలు పేరుకుపోతున్నాయి. ఉద్యోగులకు సకాలంలో డిఎ అందడం లేదు. ఈ పరిస్థితి మారాలి. ప్రతీ ఆరు నెలలకు ఒక సారి గడువు తేదీ రాగానే రాష్ట్రంలో చెల్లించాల్సిన డిఏ నిర్ణయించాలి.
కేంద్రం అంచనాలు అందిన తర్వాత అవసరమైతే దాన్ని సవరించాలి. ఉదాహరణకు రాష్ట్రం 3 శాతం డిఎ ప్రకటించి అమలు చేయాలి. కేంద్రం 3.5 శాతం అని ప్రకటిస్తే మిగిలిన 0.5 శాతం చెల్లించాలి. 2.5 గా నిర్ణయిస్తే 0.5 శాతం తగ్గించి చెల్లించాలి. ఈ విషయంలో వెంటనే ప్రతిపాదనలు తయారు చేయాలి. కేబినెట్లో చర్చించి విధాన నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటాం' అని సిఎం వెల్లడించారు.
