All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, and Principals of DIETs in the State are informed to the Government of India announced to celebrate October 31st birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas - National Unity Day.
In this connection, All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, and Principals of DIETs in the state are informed to instruct all the School Headmasters under all managements to conduct the following activities on 31st October 2019.
1. A Pledge taking the ceremony to mark the occasion ( pledge is enclosed )
2. A "Run for Unity " maybe organize to promote the message of National unity.
3. ESSAY, Debate, Quiz competitions on the theme of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
4. Prabhat Bheri by students and teachers.
Pledge
I solemnly pledge that I dedicate myself to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among my fellow countrymen. I take this pledge in the spirit of unification of my country which was made possible by the vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. I also solemnly resolve to make my own contribution to ensure the internal security of my country.
