Girija Sankar said that out of the total 21.69 lakh candidates who filed applications, about 19.4 lakh candidates have attended the exams, which is around 88% percent of attendance. This is the first of its kind response to any competitive exam in the country, including the UPSC or SSC or APPSC or others. He said that the State government has taken all steps to announce the results by September 20.
